A Grand Adventure

Ever since we were kids, Jake and I both dreamt of being entrepreneurs. We were the kids running the lemonade stands, selling candy bars to go to camp, babysitting every kid in the neighborhood, mowing lawns and delivering paper routes because our parents taught us the value of earning a dollar.

As adults, our dreams were delayed. There was a period of time where our “Magic of Thinking Big” wasn’t quite as big as we thought it was. We worked for corporations that provided well for our family, but we were desperate to get out … to taste that sweet, sweet freedom once again.

So here we are, finally taking that leap of faith and setting out on our own. We’ve burned the ships and there’s no turning back …

Ok, so we didn’t exactly burn our ships or bridges - Jake left his full time job on wonderful terms and great relationships in-tact, and I still co-own a boxing gym ☺️ … but we did go all-in on our own dreams for the first time ever.

Leading the Way

Some people think we’re a little crazy …

Before our kids were born, we chose to not send them to daycare and knew that homeschooling was for us … Which meant that we needed to figure out how to ACTUALLY make that happen AND be able to pay our bills.

After I took a really terrible job, but one that allowed me to stay home with our kids, I found my way out by taking my passion for people and wellness to the next level and owning a boxing gym.

And now it’s Jake’s turn!

For years, he worked on side projects around our numerous homes and the homes of others, earning his stripes as a meticulous painter, a skilled floor layer and an all around handyman. And now we are so excited to show our kids what true entrepreneurship looks like for our family!

Our Family Vision …

And why it matters to you!

First and foremost, we love Jesus. We put our faith first, and when I say we took a leap of faith, I mean it. Jake choosing to walk away from a solid job was a huge leap, but it was one that God laid out for us.

We love our family. Our kids, Oakley and Shepherd, and our support system means everything to us. We want to teach our children to love and respect everyone, to be kind and caring and grow into wonderful adults. (Unfortunately that doesn’t mean we get to bypass the toddler attitudes and sibling fighting … that’d be so great though!)

We love people and we love making people happy. Every project we’ve gotten to be a part of has put smiles on faces and has helped people to feel at home … or sell their homes!

We believe that your home should be a peaceful place to come to at the end of the day. One that calms the chaos and brings relaxation from the outside world, but when you’ve got projects hanging over your head, that peace is hard to find.

Let us help you lighten your load so you can spend the most valuable time you have with the most important people in your life.
